MAKS 2009. Final day
August, the 23th the airshow MAKS 2009 came to the end with the flight of Russkie Vityazi aerobatic team. Four fighters Su-27 have made a lap of honour over Zhukovsky in memory of their commander Igor Tkachenko.

Today in Zhukovsky the 8th international airshow MAKS 2009 is opened.
Four of MiG-29 aerobatic team Strizhi, lead by guards lieutenant-colonel Valery Morozov, have devoted their first performance to Igor Tkachenko.

Today the commander of 237th ADC (Kubinka afb, earlier commander and leader of Russkie Vitiazi aerobatic team) Igor Tkachenko was lost on training in Zhukovsky fly ground after ejecting from dual cockpit with Igor Kurilenko.
It was a result of collision in air space of Zhukovsky with single Su-27 (Vitaly Melnik). Kurilenko and Melnik were taken away by rescue cars. They are live.
